The newest versions of these amplifiers not only include the upgraded transformers and power supply but now they also have
turn-on surge protection to soften the huge surge required to charge the enormous amount of capacitance in the power supplies.
Now the amplifiers have totally automatic bias, DC SERVO BIAS, just plug in the tubes and the amp will perfectly bias and balance the tubes until they are totally dead! Never worry about tube bias again with these new amps. They are quieter than ever before which allows much more of the detail come on thru! THESE AMP PRODUCE 150 WATTS OF POWER CONTINUOUSLY!
The amps use a quad of EL-34's or a quad of KT-77's will work very well. In fact I prefer the KT-77's
Front-end consists of 3 5687's of variants of this tube. (7044's, 7119's) Cardas Solid Copper binding posts 3 of them for 4 and 8 ohms. Cardas input Rca's. The amplifiers measure 11" wide x 17" deep x 4" tall and weigh about 48 pounds each.
They are available in Maple or Rosewood and Aluminum. Wood finish is Satin only. All black except the wood. Call or email for pricing.
