Well this is a very well known preamp now. I have sold well over 100 of them in the 3 years of production. Sales are still good on them. I have gotten 3 very good reviews on this preamp and I am certainly very proud of it as well. Coming in the future will be a new model using a new type of battery and possibly some new features. NOTES ON BATTERY LIFE
Over the few years this preamp has been available I have finally figured out how to get the most from the batteries. Although the preamp does automatically charge every time the unit is turned off I have found that the batteries do develop a memory effect when used only a few hours each time. The batteries will go bad very quickly typically 3-4 months with this type of use. I have found that if you let the preamp charge up fully and then disconnect the charger from the unit or the wall socket, and then remember how many hours the unit is played, when you get 12-15 hours of play time on it then plug the charger back in and let it fully charge up once again. Doing it this way has increased the useful battery life tremendously.
