This new headphone amp is very close to introduction. I have had headphone amps in the past, but none of them can even get close to this new amp. Of course it uses batteries, and 1 tube per channel.  It is a transformer based design using a single 6DJ8 tube in each channel. It will feature a built in lithium Ion battery pack for hours of use before needing charged. It will have 3 of the most popular output impedances, 32, 62, 300 ohms. These impedances will cover about 90% of all phones out there today! The first units will have only 1 input with volume control. Future units will have more inputs and features.

Sonically I have never heard anything better! You don’t even realize that this thing is even on! There is NO noise of any kind. The imaging and sound-staging is impeccable to say the least. Super wide bandwidth and the bass is very tight and fast!

It is a very small unit as well. It measures 9” wide x 8” deep x 4” tall. It is transformer based so it will be quite heavy at somewhere between 12-15 pounds
